Artist Blog 2: Tom Storm

Time Square New York City
Probably the most unusual but stunning pieces of art. Tom Storm blows bubbles and photographs the world in the bubbles view. How is this possible? The reflection from the bubble shows the world around into a creative landscape. The images that are portraid off the bubble are a "dream like" effect.  In these photos there are crazy reflections of famous landmarks around the world. In the bubbles the background is reversed like in a mirror. The bubble makes the image look convex because of the shape of the bubble.  In this particular bubble picture the colors are what stand out the most to me. I personally love the color contrast in this bubble and background. The artist is trying to capture the world in a different perspective, in more of a dream like way. Thinking of a bubble  you would normally think it would be a translucent object where you can see through. This art is very creative and I would love to try it and create my own dream art.
